Scientific Research

Many years ago meditation was considered an eastern practice for spiritual development. Many people, like Farrokh and Ruffina, learned meditation for spiritual growth, for the unfoldment of their inner life.  Oriental literature was filled with stories of the tried and true path to liberation, enlightenment and Godhead being through silent deep meditation.

In the 1960s, when Maharishi Mahesh Yogi was teaching meditation for "spiritual regeneration", his students reported that they were able to sleep better, had less headaches, noticed an improvement in their blood pressure etc.  Many more people learned to meditate to enjoy these benefits.

In the 1970s the first studies were published on the physiological benefits of meditation.  Some of the initial studies done were conducted by Dr Robert Keith Wallace of Harvard University, showing levels of rest gained during meditation to be twice as deep as that gained during deep sleep.  Since then, hundreds of research studies have been done around the world at reputable institutions verifying the claims of practitioners that meditation  regularizes hypertension, insomnia, and many stress-derived ailments.  Practicing meditation is now considered "mainstream", a must for good health, an essential tool in our arsenal to combat stress on a daily basis.

So whether you are looking for a technique for inner personal spiritual development or for purely scientific benefits to sleep better and curb or end addictions to cigarettes, alcohol and hard drugs, the Transcendental Stress Management® Meditation program will be effective.

Anecdotal Evidence

Over the years, teachers of TSM Meditation have taught thousands of people from all walks of life and they have reported a wide range of benefits.   These include relief from insomnia, normalization of blood pressure, improved sleep, improved relationships, reduction in substance abuse, increased creativity, improved mind-body coordination, decreased anxiety, and a feeling of contentment and peace during the day's activities.   They also report  a decrease in substance abuse (cigarettes, alcohol and hard drugs like cocaine and heroin), increased harmony at home and in the work place, peace of mind and enjoyment of life that they had forgotten or never known.

Some wonderful and inspiring essays have been written by graduates of The Enlightened Sentencing Project (TESP), a nonprofit organization established by Farrokh and Ruffina Anklesaria to teach TSM to probationers and parolees sent by the courts in St Louis.  Read what these graduates of the TSM program had to say when they completed the program.

With all the scientific research before you and the anecdotal evidence of countless TSM graduates, you can rest assured that you will learn the most effective meditation program available on the market today, with your own personal and highly experienced instructors.  Call today for a free introductory lecture.
